Free anime filler data
Every episode of 13 long anime, 4,076 in all, labelled filler, mixed, anime canon or manga canon. Download it as JSON or CSV and use it in your app, add-on, spreadsheet or research. It's free, and there's no key or sign-up.
Data as of Nov 3, 2026. The files update whenever the lists on this site do.
Files
Start with /data/shows.json: it lists every show with its counts and the links to its own files. /data/all.csv has every episode of every show in one file, with a show column.
The same files are also on Kaggle and Hugging Face, if that's where you work. This page always has the newest version.
What each episode has
| Field | What it is |
|---|---|
| n | Episode number in the original Japanese broadcast order. |
| title | English episode title. |
| airdate | First Japanese air date (YYYY-MM-DD). |
| type | filler, mixed, anime-canon or canon (unknown if our two sources disagree and it is not settled yet). |
| arc | Story arc the episode belongs to. |
| tvmazeId | TVmaze episode ID, for joining with TVmaze data. |
Each show's JSON file also has its counts, its filler share, the filler episode numbers, the date we last checked it and the sources behind the labels. What the labels mean:
canon: Straight from the manga. Watch it.mixed: Some manga, some anime-only scenes. Keep it, or you lose part of the plot.anime-canon: Not in the manga, but adapted from an official novel or one-shot.unknown: Our two sources disagree or one is missing. Keep it until we settle it.filler: Made up for the anime. Skip it and the story still makes sense.
How we decide each label, and every correction we've made, is on the method page.
Example
Fetch a show and list its filler episodes. The files allow requests from any website, so this works in a browser too:
const res = await fetch('https://fillerlists.com/data/one-piece.json');
const show = await res.json();
const filler = show.episodes.filter((e) => e.type === 'filler').map((e) => e.n);
console.log(show.name, filler);Licence and credit
The data is free to use, change and share, including in commercial projects, under CC BY-SA 4.0. That's because it's built on TVmaze episode records and checked against Fandom wikis and Wikipedia, which use the same kind of licence.
If you use it, please:
- credit FillerLists and its sources, with a link to this page,
- link the licence and say if you changed the data,
- share your version of the data under the same licence.
